2001 – Wins Best in Watercolor at the Ruidoso Arts Show (NM) and First Place Watercolor at RioFest (TX). Celebrates the 6th Annual one-man Show and Reception at the Harbinger Gallery, Arnold, CA with career record sales.

1999 –Selected as the poster artist for RioFest in South Texas. Poster wins Best in State Award.

1998 – Selected as the first poster artist for Copperfest at Copper Mountain Ski Resort in Colorado. Launches web gallery: www.wintersgallery.com

1995 – 1996 - Opens second gallery in downtown Taos which features one of the only open-studios in Taos and meets collectors from around the world.

1990 -Moves to Taos with Lisa and starts The Winters Gallery in historic Ranchos De Taos, NM.
