Time Flies When You're Having Fun! Come see us in our new spot at 214 Old Ingram Loop scenically situated across the Guadalupe River, six miles west of Kerrville The Winters Gallery, since 1989, will celebrate its second year in the Hill Country in March. What began in a tiny studio in historic Ranchos de Taos, is now established in a new location in the historic district of Ingram, just outside of Kerrville. And not without irony. Ironically, our first gallery in Ranchos served as a post office. This new gallery in Ingram also once served as the town post office. These commonalities are good luck, we think (just don't let a car drive through the front!) and we love the fibers that connect us from the past to the present. Each space that has been called "home" to The Winters Gallery brings with it new personalities, new feelings, and new adventures. Here, we are surrounded with some of the West's already established famous artists like pastel portraiter Steve Napper or bronze sculpture Tom Moss. You'll enjoy these and other artists and fine craftsmen placed on the loop. There are specialty shops featuring unique gifts, furniture, and clothing, too. And you've heard the saying, "Location, location, location." Much like residing in the shadows of the historic St. Francis de Assisi Church in Ranchos de Taos for so many years, settling along the banks of the cool, crisp Guadalupe River becomes a draw for art collectors and auto-enthusiasits alike. Old Ingram Loop is a draw for families on a sunny Saturday afternoon, art collectors across the State, and hundreds of organized auto enthusiasists, wildflower fans, camp chauffers, and area individuals simply entrigued by the beauty and interest of the area. Old Ingram Loop is simply comfortable! For Winters, it is the perfect spot to meet and greet collectors, create new works, and be inspired. Winters continues to find operating an "open" studio essential, where collectors and the public can actually watch an artist at work. Come and see a plain sheet of watercolor paper transform into an amazing work of art or a piece of raw canvas transform into a major masterpiece. But keep in mind, The Winters Gallery is still a family-owned, family operated business. Which means, our formal operating hours are still contingent on the schedules of our family committments and the activities of Rowdy and Rayne, plus pre-scheduled shows that Todd participates in across the country. So, if you are in the area, call ahead so that we can make plans to see you! Come one, come all! We welcome you to our new spot and know you will love it as much as we do! It's time for the Southwest to merge into the wild, wild West and that is what happens in the new Winters Gallery in Old Ingram.

PAINT LIKE THERE'S NO TOMORROW
Spontaneous combustion at any given moment is what visitors can expect and experience first-hand at The Winters Gallery. A fine art space, artist's studio, The Winters Gallery allows collectors to meet the artist, watch him work, learn, share in the process, and understand the amazing possibilities a canvas or sheet of blank paper has. Come see for yourself! |
